There are five basic learning Disbilities.
1. Dyslexia is a language-based disability is when a person has trouble understand the written word in textbooks, on tests and quiz's, or anywhere.
2. Dyscalculia is more mathematical. A person will have difficulty in solving basic and advanced arithmetic problems and grasping math concepts.
3. Dysgraphia is a writing disability. A person will have a hard time forming letters and writing within a defined space.
4. Auditory and Visual Processing Disorders is when a person has difficulty understanding language despite normal hearing and vision.
5. Nonverbal Learning Disabilities is a neurological disorder. It is when the right hemisphere of the brain causing problems with visual-spatial, intuitive, organizational, evaluative and holistic processing functions.
